Wayne County Commissioners Irma Clark-Coleman and Tim Killeen gain appointments

Wayne County Commissioner Irma Clark-Coleman was appointed to the Wayne County Community Corrections Advisory Board and Commissioner Tim Killeen was reappointed to the Wayne County Art Institute Authority Board in action by the county commission.

Appointments were made by commission Chair Alisha Bell and confirmed by the full commission.

Commissioner Clark-Coleman (D-Detroit) represents the 5th District, which includes neighborhoods in north-central Detroit. She will receive a four-year term on the advisory board.

The Community Corrections Advisory Board assists in developing plans to provide treatment, program options, case management and other supportive services to help adult felony offenders develop productive, crime-free lives.

Commissioner Killeen (D-Detroit) represents the 1st District, which includes a section of eastern Detroit, the Grosse Pointes and Harper Woods.

The Art Institute Authority Board helps monitor the Art Institute Service Agreement between the Wayne County Art Institute Authority and the Detroit Institute of Arts, Inc., regarding services provided to county residents.

Also reappointed to the board were Maria Lambert of Romulus, Hubert Massey of Detroit, Barbara Rogalle Miller of Belleville and Bettye Misuraca of Grosse Pointe Farms. Gloria Ross of Detroit was also appointed to the board.
