Prosecutor Kym L. Worthy has charged Roksana Sikorski, 15 (DOB 3/21/99) in connection with the stabbing of her 12-year-old brother. On October 17, 2014 at approximately 2:00 a.m. in the morning, Sikorski and her boyfriend, Michael Rivera, 23 (DOB 4/1/91), of Detroit, were at her family's home located in the 12800 block of Glenmore Court in Plymouth Township, where they conspired to kill her family members and run away together. Rivera is alleged to have been outside the house sending text messages with instructions and pictures, directing his 15-year-old girlfriend while she was inside the home. It is alleged that Sikorski took a knife and stabbed her 12-year-old brother in the throat and that she attempted to stab her younger sister. The defendants fled the scene after the brother was stabbed. The Plymouth Township Police were called and dispatched to the location. The mother, father, brother and sister were at the scene when the officers arrived. The 12-year-old boy was conveyed to a local hospital where he was treated for multiple stab wounds.

Investigation by the Plymouth Township Police Department led to the arrest of Sikorski and Rivera. On Sunday October 19, 2014, Defendant Rivera was charged and arraigned on four counts of Conspiracy to Commit Murder, one count of Assault with Intent to Murder and one count of Felonious Assault. He received a $1,000,000 cash/surety bond and his preliminary examination is scheduled for October 31, 2014 before Judge Michael Gerou.

Defendant Sikorski has been charged with four counts of Conspiracy to Commit Murder, one count of Assault with Intent to Murder, one count of Using a Computer to Commit a Crime and one count of Felonious Assault. She received a $1,000,000 cash/surety bond and her preliminary examination is scheduled for October 31, 2014 before Judge Michael Gerou in 35th District Court.

"Bluntly, it is rare for this office to charge a 15-year- old as an adult. However, the alleged facts in this case strongly warrant this decision. The alleged actions of this defendant and her codefendant, to conspire to kill her entire family, are truly haunting," said Prosecutor Worthy.
