Prosecutor Kym Worthy has charged Antoine Lewis Jones, 28 (DOB: 12/8/87), of Detroit, in connection with alleged inappropriate sexual contact with four Detroit males between the ages of 13 through 15 years of age. It is alleged that between November 2014 through March 2016, the defendant requested inappropriate photos, texts and social media messages from six males who were on the basketball team he coached at A.L. Holmes Middle School. It is also alleged that he had inappropriate sexual contact with several of the players he was coaching. More detailed facts of the case will be presented in court.

Jones has been charged with the following offenses: one count of Criminal Sexual Conduct First Degree; seven counts of Criminal Sexual Conduct Second Degree; three counts of Child Sexually Abusive Activity; three counts of Using a Computer to Commit a Crime; three counts of Distributing Sexually Explicit Matter to Children; one count of Accosting for Immoral Purposes; and one count of Aggravated Indecent Exposure.

Jones was arraigned in 36th District Court this afternoon. The Probable Cause Conference is scheduled for April 6, 2016 at 8:30 a.m.; the Preliminary Examination is scheduled for April 13, 2016 at 9:00 a.m. Both hearings are before 36th District Court Judge Shannon Holmes. The defendant received a $1 Million cash/surety bond.
