Detroit Teen Charged In Homicide
Wayne County Prosecutor Kym Worthy has charged Allen Alexander Tabb, 16 (DOB: 07/06/2000), of Detroit, in connection with the homicide of an adult male, 49, also of Detroit. Tabb is adult-designated in Juvenile Court.
On April 6, 2017, Detroit police officers were dispatched to a property in the 9600 block of Manor Street in Detroit. Officers discovered the victim on the front porch of the property, suffering from a gunshot wound. The victim was transported to a local hospital for treatment, but succumbed to his injuries.
Investigation by Detroit police officers led them to Tabb. He has been charged with Murder – Second Degree and Felony Firearm.* He will be arraigned at 1:30 p.m. today. A preliminary exam Date is scheduled for April 24, 2017 at 9:00 a.m. before the Judge Virgil Smith at the Lincoln Hall of Justice.
*The charges are allegations and defendants are presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
