Aubrey Stanley and Arthur Stanley - Defendants charged in the homicide of two brothers in the 20000 block of Schaefer in Detroit. Today the jury returned a guilty as charged verdict for each defendant of First Degree Murder, Felon in Possession of a Firearm and Felony Firearm. The sentence will be held on Tuesday, February 26th, 2019 at 9:00 a.m. before Judge Michael Hathaway.

Detroit Man Charged in LaSalle Boulevard Homicide
Wayne County Prosecutor Kym Worthy has charged David Calvin Moore, 45 (DOB: 09/10/1973) of Detroit, in connection with the fatal shooting of Willie Ray Pittman, Jr., age 64, both of Detroit.
On February 6, 2019 at approximately 9:16 p.m., Detroit Police officers were dispatched to a location in the 14000 block of LaSalle Boulevard in Detroit, in response to the report of a shooting. Upon arrival, the officers discovered the victim lying next to the open driver side door of his vehicle. Medics were called to the scene and the victim was transported to a local hospital for treatment. The victim succumbed to his injury the next day.
Investigation by the Detroit Police led to the arrest of Moore. The investigation of the case is ongoing. Further information will be placed on the record in court at the Preliminary Examination.
Moore has been charged with Murder - First Degree, Felony Murder, Armed Robbery, Felon in Possession of a Firearm and Felony Firearm.* He was arraigned this afternoon before 36th District Court Magistrate Millicent Sherman. The Probable Cause Conference is scheduled for February 27, 2019 at 8:30 a.m.; the Preliminary Examination is scheduled for March 6, 2019 at 1:30 p.m. Both hearings are before Judge Michael Wagner in 36th District Court. The defendant was remanded to jail.
*The charges are allegations and defendants are presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
