Gregory Vincente Green - Defendant charged in connection with the September 21, 2016 Dearborn Heights homicides of his two children and his two step-children. He was also charged in connection with the torture and unlawful imprisonment of his wife, Faith Green. Today the defendant appeared in 20th District Court before Judge David Turfe and was declared competent to stand trial and pleaded guilty in the case.

Defendant Green pleaded guilty to the following charges:

  • Second Degree Murder - Kaleigh Green
  • Second Degree Murder - Koi Green
  • Second Degree Murder - Kara Allen
  • Second Degree Murder - Chadney Allen
  • Torture - Faith Green
  • Assault with Intent to Do Great Bodily Harm - Faith Green
  • Felony Firearm

The counts of Unlawful Imprisonment, Felon In Possession of a Firearm, and Felonious Assault will be dismissed at the sentence hearing as a result of the plea. There is a sentence agreement of 45 years to 100 years plus two years consecutive for the Felony Firearm charge. Defendant Green is currently 50-years-old and will have to first serve the two years for the Felony Firearm and then 45 years for the other charges, making him 97-years-old before he would be eligible to apply for parole.

The plea was given with the express approval of Faith Green, the mother of the children and the father of the two Allen children. The sentence hearing is tentatively scheduled for March 1, 2017 at 9:00 a.m. in Wayne County Third Circuit Court Criminal Division. A judge has not yet been assigned to the case.

Detroit Man Charged in Fatal Assault of Detroit Woman

Prosecutor Kym Worthy has charged Antenidus Montrell Collier, 44 (DOB: 12/6/72), of Detroit, in connection with the homicide of Carissa Nicole Oakman, 36, of Detroit. On January 30, 2017, the lifeless body of Ms. Oakman was found in a garbage bag in the garage in the 4500 block of 28th Street by the Detroit Police Department. It is alleged that the defendant assaulted Ms. Oakman and fatally smothered her on January 19, 2017 at 2:30 a.m. The facts and evidence in the case will be presented in court at the preliminary examination.

Collier has been charged with First Degree Murder and First Degree Felony Murder*. He was arraigned today in 36th District Court before Magistrate Dawn M. White. The probable cause conference is scheduled for March 2, 2017 at 8:30 a.m.; the preliminary examination is scheduled for March 9, 2017 at 1:30 p.m. Both hearings are before Judge Kenneth King in 36th District Court.
