Redford Man Charged in Dearborn Heights
Home Invasion and Arson Case

Robert Raymond Patrick III, 49 (DOB: 05/30/1969), of Redford, has been charged by Prosecutor Kym Worthy in connection with an arson at a home in the 6900 block of Mayburn in Dearborn Heights. On October 29, 2018, it is alleged that Patrick broke into the home and took personal belongings of the 64-year-old male owner. It is further alleged that Patrick placed clothing on a gas stove burner in the kitchen, causing a fire to spread throughout the home. Investigation by the Dearborn Heights police led to the arrest of Patrick at a Dearborn Heights liquor store.

Defendant Patrick has been charged with one count each of Arson Second Degree, Home Invasion Second, Receiving and Concealing Stolen Property over $1000.* He was arraigned on Friday, November 2, 2019 and received a $100,000 cash/surety bond in 20th District Court in Dearborn Heights today. His Probable Cause Conference is on November 14, 2018 and his Preliminary Examination is on November 21, 2018 in 20th District Court.

Detroit Man Charged in Shootings of Juveniles

Wayne County Prosecutor Kym Worthy has charged Antonio Carols Hubbard, 25 (DOB: 05/07/1993), of Detroit, in connection with the fatal shooting of a juvenile male and the non-fatal shootings of three more juvenile males.

On October 31, 2018 at approximately 4:18 p.m., Detroit police officers were flagged down regarding shots fired inside a house in the 19900 block of Langholm Street in Detroit. Upon arrival, the officers discovered one juvenile suffering from a gunshot wound in the backyard. Medics conveyed the juvenile to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead on arrival. Three other juveniles who suffered non-fatal wounds were privately conveyed to a local hospital for treatment. Investigation by the Detroit Police located the defendant who was taken into custody. Further details and information will be produced at the Preliminary Examination.

Hubbard has been charged with Murder - First Degree, Felony Murder, three counts of Assault with Intent to Murder, four counts of Armed Robbery, four counts of Torture, Felon in Possession of a Firearm and Felony Firearm.*

Hubbard was arraigned this afternoon before 36th District Court Magistrate Bari Blake Wood. The Probable Cause Conference is scheduled for November 19, 2018 at 8:30 a.m.; the Preliminary Examination is scheduled for November 26, 2018 at 1:30 p.m. Both hearings are before Judge Cylenthia Miller in 36th District Court. The defendant was remanded to jail.
