Wayne County Prosecutor Kym L. Worthy has charged Sharnea Diamond McCoy, 21 (DOB: 05/10/1995) and Erica Italy Osburn, 25 (DOB: 01/06/1992), both of Detroit, in connection with the homicide of Reginald Ramone Robinson, age 17, of Garden City, Michigan.

It is alleged that on February 24, 2017 at approximately 6:24 p.m., Detroit police were dispatched to the 12000 block of Plymouth Road in response to a shooting. Upon arrival, the officers found the lifeless body of Reginald Ramone Robinson in the street. It is alleged that the decedent was fatally shot by Defendant Erica Italy Osburn, who was a passenger in a vehicle driven by Defendant Sharnea Diamond McCoy. It is further alleged that earlier in the day the Defendant McCoy and Robinson had a heated exchange while she was in a store.

McCoy and Osburn have been charged with First Degree Murder and Felony Firearm.* Both defendants were arraigned this afternoon. The probable cause conference is scheduled for March 8, 2017 at 8:30 a.m.; the preliminary examination is scheduled for March 15, 2017 at 9:00 a.m. Both hearings are before Judge Deborah Lewis Langston in 36th District Court.

*The charges are allegations and defendants are presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
