Done Deal, Documents Signed for County's Issuance of Notes
On June 21, 2018, the Treasurer signed the documents in connection to the County's issuance of $147,690,000 of Notes, the proceeds of which funded the 2018 Delinquent Tax Revolving Fund ("DTRF"). The DTRF will advance/loan the $147,690,000 to Wayne County local communities and other taxing jurisdictions against the 2017 delinquent taxes turned over to the Treasurer for collection on March 1, 2018. The Notes will be repaid from 2017 delinquent tax collections. The Treasurer is responsible for the issuance of the Notes.
