Southeastern Michigan Veterans Stand Down
October 16-17 2019- The 2019 Southeastern Michigan Veterans stand down event took place at the Michigan Light Guard Armory. Southeastern Michigan Veterans Stand Down, Inc. holds a yearly stand down to aid homeless and needy veterans in Southeastern Michigan. "Stand Down" is a military term referring to the removal of exhausted combat troops from the battlefield to a place of relative security/safety to rest and recover. The event provided veterans with resources available to assist them with their needs. WCTO Staff provided veterans with assistance getting into payment plans and informed them about the upcoming Veteran's Resource Fair.
