A Detroit Businessman, Michael Evans, president of M2E Investments, paid the delinquent taxes for an elderly woman in line next to him who was about to lose her home to foreclosure. In this video, he is interviewed by Vickie Thomas from WWJ AM Newsradio 950. Wayne County Treasurer Eric Sabree stated that he is "happy that Ms. Jackson came in and had the faith to see about the situation, because it allows the Wayne County Treasurer's Office to help." Mr. Sabree also said that this situation is very unusual, but it's not the first time it has happened.
