Melissa Daub (Dist. 10)

Melissa Daub is serving in her first term on the Wayne County Commission. She represents District 10, which comprises Canton Township, Plymouth Township and the City of Plymouth. A graduate of Plymouth-Canton High School, Commissioner Daub holds a bachelor of science degree from Eastern Michigan University. Prior to serving on the Wayne County Commission, Commissioner Daub worked in the accounting field, with extensive experience in both leadership and individual contributor positions.

Commissioner Daub is a proud member of the Michigan Democratic Party, Canton Democratic Club and Plymouth Democratic Club. She has held several volunteer leadership roles with Cub Scout Pack 1738 and has served as a member of the Parent Teacher Association at Hulsing Elementary School. Commissioner Daub lives in Canton with her son, Dominic.

Commissioner Daub currently serves on the following Standing Committees and Special Task Forces for the 2019-2020 legislative session for the Wayne County Commission:
