Wayne County Prosecutor Kym Worthy has charged Richard Lee-Jose Allen, 34 (DOB: 11/30/1984), of Detroit, in connection with the non-fatal shooting and vehicular assault of Jalen Dontez Davis, 20, of Grosse Pointe, MI.

On May 6, 2019 at approximately 2:00 a.m., Detroit Police officers were standing in front of a nightclub located near Woodward Avenue and West Adams. It is alleged that the defendant shot the victim from his vehicle and struck him with his car before crashing into a parked car.

He was arraigned on the same day and received a $50,000 cash/surety bond.
